Amaree Jones

University Commendations for Leadership and Service Recipient

Amaree Jones graduated this spring, earning degrees in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies. Amaree’s leadership journey began with the Emerging Leaders program, where she was then selected as a Peer Advising Leader and later Peer Advising Coordinator. She served as the Vice President and President of the Foster Change student organization to coordinate volunteer opportunities with local non-profit organizations. Amaree was a well-known face in the Popp Martin Student Union building through her roles as both a Student Involvement Ambassador and Lead Information Center Specialist. Lastly, her officer role within the Black Pre-Law Society prepared her for a future career in the legal field.
