Caitlin BrabbleRose

University Commendation for Leadership and Service Recipient

Caitlin BrabbleRose will graduate this December with a Ph.D. in Biology with a 4.0 GPA. While dedicating her time to her challenging academic coursework and winning a multitude of awards, Caitlin was involved as Vice President of the Association of Bio Sciences Graduate Students, and President of Society for Advancement of Chicanos, Hispanics and Native Americans in STEM (SACNAS). Caitlin also received the University Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in 2023 and served as a Doctoral Writing Fellow in the Graduate & Postdoctoral Writing Center, mentoring graduate students by assisting them in developing their writing and communication skills. Caitlin even had the time to volunteer teaching biology to high school students on weekends, at Discovery Place, and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.
