Ellie McCutchen

University Commendation for Leadership and Service Recipient

Ellie McCutchen earned her degrees in Political Science, Sociology, and Economics with a 4.0 GPA. Ellie was a Niner Guide since her first year, guiding hundreds of prospective students and their families on campus tours. She was an officer and Conference Host Chair for UNC Charlotte Mock Trial, and both Vice President and President of the Chinese Undergraduate Student Association. A Levine Scholar, a 2025 Homecoming Niner 9 member, a mentor for the International Exchange Student Mentor Program, and a costume lab technician at the Robinson Hall Costume Lab are all ways Ellie left her mark. Additionally, Ellie was a Truman Foundation and Rhodes Scholar nominee and studied abroad twice.
