Josie Sheeler

University Commendation for Leadership and Service Recipient

Josie Sheeler earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Josie planted her roots and cultivated her leadership growth in the Leadership Journey Learning Community, which led to her becoming Vice President of Finance for Delta Zeta Sorority and later Vice President of Scholarship & New Member Education for the Panhellenic Association. Josie co-hosted the UNC Charlotte TEDx event and was a member of the Homecoming Niner 9 in Fall 2025. Josie also engaged in the Alternative Service Breaks program and studied abroad. She reached a defining point in her leadership through the Niner Guides program, serving as both a Niner Guide Trainer and Coordinator of Community and Recruitment, helping to pay it forward to the next generation of Niner Guides to follow in her footsteps.
