Sylvia Sriniwass

University Commendations for Leadership and Service Recipient

Sylvia Sriniwass graduated this spring with degrees in Finance and International Business with a 4.0 GPA. Sylvia embodied the idea of helping others during her time at UNC Charlotte, from being a Financial Wellness Coach with Niner Finances, President of the First Generation Investors Club, an English Language Conversation partner, and a Levine Scholars Mentor. Sylvia dedicated many hours to helping high school students in the Charlotte area prepare for college by organizing monthly College Readiness Workshops. Additionally, she was a member of the 2025 Homecoming Niner 9, Niner Times Staff writer, a Niner Guide, and represented UNC Charlotte on the Club Tennis team. She completed the Harvard Summer Ventures in Management Program, studied abroad (and was a Teaching Assistant while studying abroad), and was named both a Marshall Scholarship and Fulbright Scholarship nominee.
