Taylor Harris

Chuck Lynch Leadership Award Recipient

Taylor graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Taylor’s energy and positivity can be felt across the entire campus through her involvement and impact during her four years at UNC Charlotte. Taylor was a member of Leadership Fellows, LEAD Team, STARS Coordinator, Future Alumni Network Executive Board, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., won the Desk Assistant of the Year for Housing and Residence Life, and logged over 250 hours of community service. Taylor shared that, “Every leadership position I have here has been more than a title to me, it has been an opportunity to create a home for myself and those around me.” Nowhere was that more evident than her time with the SAFE Program, as a two-time Mentor and the Coordinator of Mentor Relations, training the other Mentors. Taylor’s peers speak about her selflessness for lifting others up, her authenticity, her genuine care for others, and her leadership through her character and values, which make her the perfect choice for this honor.
