UNC Charlotte Fraternities Raise $23,000 to Help End Childhood Cancer

On Saturday, March 19, Sigma Alpha Epsilon NC Beta partnered with three other fraternities — Chi Phi, Alpha Tau Omega and Alpha Sigma Phi — to raise money in support of ending childhood cancer.

During the event, which was held at Sycamore Brewing Company, more than 20 fraternity members shaving their heads, and over 40 made contributions by raising money. In total, more than $23,000 was raised for the St. Baldrick's Foundation, which seeks out the most promising cancer research to get the greatest impact with the funds it receives.
