Denise Balfour Simpson named associate vice chancellor and dean of students
Denise Balfour Simpson has been named associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students at UNC Charlotte following a national search. Her appointment is effective July 29, 2024. She currently serves as associate dean of students in the division of student life at Davidson College.

UNC Charlotte is proud to host Active Minds’ renowned Send Silence Packing® exhibit, a poignant experience aimed at shattering the silence surrounding mental health and suicide. The traveling exhibit, which has journeyed across the nation, will take place Wednesday, March 20 at the CHHS/CoEd Plaza.
