Rachel Showers received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in May 2024. Rachel was a Communication Consultant and Undergraduate Researcher on campus, both for two years. A first-generation student, Rachel held multiple formal mentorship roles, including her aforementioned role as a Communication Consultant, her role as a mentor through the Mentor Collective, and as a mentor through the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) links mentorship program.
