UNC Charlotte’s Christine Reed Davis, Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, was awarded the Melvene D. Hardee Dissertation of the Year Award by NASPA: Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Davis was selected for the award in a competitive field of submissions from across the country.

Green Dot violence prevention strategy surpasses 900 participants in first months on campus
Chelsey Walker was the driving force behind getting the Green Dot violence prevention strategy program onto the Charlotte campus. By the end of October, 855 students and 57 faculty and staff have undergone the bystander intervention training to help make a safer campus.
