Finding the right balance of wellness care as a college student can be daunting. UNC Charlotte’s new Center for Integrated Care (CIC) is trying to make that process easier.

Student Health Center Offers Flu Vaccine Clinics with Assistance from Nursing Students
The Student Health Center (SHC) is helping limit the spread of influenza by offering flu vaccine clinics over a six-week span starting on Thursday, Sept. 29. Clinics are open to students, faculty, and staff. Charlotte has offered on-campus flu clinics in the past, but this year SHC is working with the School of Nursing to have nursing students involved in everything from assessing clients prior to the shot to administering the vaccine to checking in on patients afterward to see if there are any adverse reactions.
UNC Charlotte Student Legal Services, Inc. Now Open
UNC Charlotte Student Legal Services, Inc. (SLS) is a new program available to UNC Charlotte students. Located in Suite 126 of the Popp Martin Student Union, SLS provides enrolled students with confidential legal advice and limited legal representation at no additional charge. The staff is also available for presentations to student groups and academic courses on legal rights and responsibilities.
